Teacher Workshops

As the state teaching standards for specific Holocaust topics become mandated, through its educational outreach efforts, the OHRC is becoming poised to address all teachers needs. During the course of the school year, OHRC sponsors several teaching workshops to help educators develop and expand their Holocaust curriculum.

Workshop participants read and discuss a variety of historical and literary texts, conduct exercises, watch and discuss pertinent video materials, discuss appropriate pedagogical approaches to teaching the lessons of the Holocaust, and hear survivor/witness testimony.
