Oregon Holocaust Resource Center: to remember, to record, to understand...

"Each year at the end of my Holocaust unit I say - and believe - that I cannot teach it again, but somehow I find my way back to the realization that there is very little that I can teach that can be as important as this."

OHRC exists to tell the story of the Holocaust from the crucial perspective of the survivors, refugees, and liberators, primarily to "teach the teachers" the many important lessons that come to us from this event. OHRC is especially supportive of efforts to enhance students' awareness of the value of diversity and tolerance for all.
